Claudio Monteverde’s story
I work as communication & public affairs manager in a tech company. I hold a degree in economics and 2 masters, but my curiosity for yoga started years before, during high school, with the first Hatha Yoga classes.
After University, I started practicing Ashtanga Yoga. Since then I have experimented in different styles of yoga with many wonderful teachers: from dynamic yoga to Vinyasa flow to Anusara Yoga (Anusara Immersion, 2011/2012 – Turin).
In 2016 I discovered with Audrey Favreau the power of Restorative Yoga. During that training I learnt that, sometimes, one blanket is what you need to change the world and I abandoned myself to the healing power of relaxation (Restorative Yoga Teacher Training, January 2016 – Milan).
After +10 years of practice, I understood that the best way to keep on learning for me was to get back to studying and become a Yoga teacher. Thus I enrolled in a 3-year Centered Yoga teacher training course, under the attentive guidance of Francesca Petrilli, and with the supervision of Dona Holleman, who had studied directly with B.K.S. Iyengar.
In July 2018 I obtained the first level diploma (Diploma Centered Yoga, Beginners, July 2018 – Soiano del Lago) and I continue my training with Dona Holleman and her teachers, Patrizia Gregori and Francesca Petrilli.
